Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist

30-Day Project | 20–24 Hours per Week | Hybrid/Remote

Our client in the service industry is seeking a Part-Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their accounting team for a 30-day project . This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on A/R and cash application experience who is looking for a short-term, flexible assignment.

Responsibilities

Process cash applications and credit card payments
Contact customers by phone to obtain updated payment information
Send customer statements as requested
Accurately apply and record customer payments
Assist with additional accounts receivable tasks as needed

Schedule & Work Arrangement

20–24 hours per week
Work hours must fall between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Must be available to train in the office during the first week
After training, the remainder of the 30-day project can be worked remotely

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced A/R professional seeking a part-time, short-term project with remote flexibility after training .

Qualifications

3+ years previous accounts receivable, cash application, or payment processing experience
Comfortable contacting customers by phone regarding payment information
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
