District Manager, Rheumatology - Boston, MA

AbbVie seeks a District Manager for Rheumatology in the Boston area to lead field-based commercial teams, drive sales targets, and execute district sales plans. The role involves managing in-field activity, developing team members, and engaging with internal stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate in-field team activity to achieve sales targets and business results within assigned geography
• Create, implement, and communicate District Sales Plan while monitoring progress
• Coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect team members to enhance performance
• Present market and franchise perspectives by mastering product, disease state, and managed care information
• Provide direction to internal partners in business planning and exemplify company values

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, pharmacy, or business, or equivalent industry experience
• Minimum four years pharmaceutical sales management experience
• Business analysis and planning skills to drive sales performance
• Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas
• HCIR credentialing eligibility and background check clearance
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening
• Excellent judgment, decision-making, and performance management skills
