Assistant Professor of Clinical - Neurological Surgery, Neruosciences

The department of Neurological Surgery is seeking an AssistantProfessor who is fully trained inadvanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and procedures related to: Neurosurgicaldisorders affecting movement,painand behavior Surgical treatment of severe injuries resulting from trauma Surgical treatment of seizure disorders This individual will perform in the clinical areas atUhealthTowerand other UM locations, the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical CenterandJackson Main Hospital. Eligible candidates must have completed a full Neurological Surgery ResidencyPrograma one-year Fellowshipin at least one of the following fields: Functional, Trauma orEpilepsyand be Board eligible in Neurosurgery.Applicants must have a Florida Medial license orbe licenseeligible.Strong research and academic interestdesired.
