The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a board certified/eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist at the Assistan t Professor level for its expanding pediatric stem cell transplantation and collection programs . The Division currently as seven faculty members and additional comprehensive programs in oncology, neuro-oncology, sickle-cell disease, and hemophilia . The Division is an integral part of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, a leading research institution, and the UM Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center . The Department of Pediatrics ranks as one of the tip Pediatric Programs for NIH funding . Excellent opportunities for participation in clinical or translational research collaborations are available within existing programs in tumor biology and immunology, tolerance and graft-versus-host disease . The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology is a full member of COG, as active federally funded programs in pediatric oncology and sickle cell disease within the state-of-the-art UM Batchelor Children’s Research Institute .
