Assistant Professor of Clinical - Pediatrics, Hematology

Position Overview The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology is searching for a Pediatric Hematologist‑Oncologist to serve as a full‑time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level and lead its expanding early‑phase clinical trial program for children and adolescents. The role will also serve as Director of the Pediatric Phase I Program. Responsibilities Director of the Pediatric Sarcoma Program Provide care of pediatric hematology‑oncology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings Share on‑call duties with division members Supervise and teach fellows, residents, and medical students Perform basic, translational, and clinical research to develop publications and grant submissions Contribute to the university's service mission including committee participation, leadership, and community outreach Desired Qualifications MD/DO at the assistant/associate professor level Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology‑Oncology Valid medical license in Florida Valid DEA license Demonstrated clinical and scholarly expertise in pediatric hematology‑oncology Proficiency in teaching students and housestaff Ability to work efficiently and independently as part of collaborative groups Experience in basic, translational, and clinical research Job Status Full time Employee Type Faculty-UMMG The University of Miami is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
