Paramedic - CCT

Role Certified Critical Care Paramedic responsible for providing advanced emergency medical care and transport for critically ill or injured patients. Key Responsibilities Respond to emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and administer life-saving interventions. Transport patients safely to medical facilities while monitoring and caring for them en route. Provide advanced life support (ALS) including airway management, IV therapy, defibrillation, and medication administration. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, emergency personnel, and healthcare teams. Maintain detailed patient care reports and ensure emergency vehicle and equipment readiness. Educate and reassure patients and families during crises, adhering to safety and legal protocols. Interpret medical instructions, lift and move patients in challenging environments, and participate in ongoing education. Qualifications & Skills Licensed NYS Paramedic with current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA within 3 months if not held). CCEMT-P, CCT-P, or FP-C certification. Valid driver’s license and significant experience in 911 and inter-facility transport preferred. Ability to work in hazardous environments, lift heavy objects, and remain calm under pressure.
