Job Opportunity

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist for a contract position in an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license and relevant certifications.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine CT scans and specialized imaging procedures according to radiologist protocols.
Independently operate equipment and function without supervision.
Utilize Meditech EMR and work with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation.
Conduct venipuncture and assist with procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and vascular or cardiac imaging.
Participate in trauma and stroke imaging as required.

Requirements

Must possess a current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred.
Experience with advanced imaging techniques like MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging is advantageous.

Important Information

Arrive by Thursday before the start date to attend the mandatory employee health appointment on Friday.
Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception is required prior to the start date.
No requests for time off will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.
