We are passionate about multiplying possibilities for our employees and our partners.Roskam Foods produces and packages food products with the goal of consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations for quality, safety, and wholesomeness.**Key Essential Functions/Duties:*** Develop and maintain daily finite and weekly master production schedules based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and resource availability.* Coordinate with production supervisors, supply chain, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and labor by leading weekly scheduling meetings and bi-weekly MPS reviews.* Support the SIOP process through the execution of the master production schedule, and escalating large demand changes.* Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays, equipment issues, or changes in demand.* Manage subcomponent inventory.* Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders, including internal and external customers.* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in scheduling practices.* Ensure demand and the plan of work are accurately represented in the ERP/MRP systems to manage scheduling and reporting, and to reflect accurate material needs.* Prepare reports on production efficiency, schedule adherence, and capacity utilization.* Continuously evaluate and optimize production planning processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reliability, leveraging technology and best practices to drive improvements in optimization and supply chain performance.**Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).* 2+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing or industrial environment.* Proficiency in scheduling software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.**Preferred Skills*** Experience with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.* Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.* Familiarity with inventory management and logistics coordination.Roskam Foods offers a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, and a 401 (k) plan with company match.AAP/EEO Statement: Roskam Foods is a recognized veteran-friendly and equal opportunity employer.We are excited to introduce you to all that Roskam has to offer—from the many valuable benefits to programs that support your lifestyle needs and opportunities for professional development.
