Executive Admin Assistant

Position Purpose: Under general supervision, assist the SVP & GM and other members of the Leadership Team by performing administrative responsibilities, including involvement in highly confidential issues regarding employee and/or company issues. Also responsible for managing the SVP & GM calendar, preparation and administration of assigned reports, comparisons, and projects. Essential Functions: Maintain office administrative duties, including answering phones, making travel arrangements, greeting appointments, sorting and prioritizing mail, and filing to ensure effective preparation of materials, flow of information and management of schedule to allow the Leadership Team to efficiently utilize time for matters relevant to successful operation and financial management. Independently composes memos and letters, with minimal direction, for Leadership Team final approval and signature Prepare special reports, spreadsheets, or comparisons for projects as assigned by Leadership Team; may include data collection, coordination, final copy, preparation and distribution. Plans and coordinates meetings, including gathering, compiling, and organizing all required information and creating presentation material. Handles complimentaries and reservations requested by Leadership Team. Participates and takes notes in meetings as requested. Uses excellent judgment and tact in day-to-day activities in dealing with corporate and property leadership, guests, vendors, regulators and the public. Keeps Leadership Team informed on current activities in the industry and items of interest in company activities as needed. Communicates with Leadership Team's direct reports, informing them of various issues in their absence. Purchases supplies needed by the department, authorizing purchase orders within guidelines to ensure timely procurement of necessary items. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Missouri Gaming license. Ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute. Experience with word processing and spreadsheet computer applications. Highly skilled in use of MS Windows, Outlook and MS Office Suite. Excellent grammatical, editing and proofreading skills. Demonstrated record of previous office experience with a similar degree of comparable complexity. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school education or equivalent and at least 5-years experience directly related to the accountabilities specified. Three years experience in an executive assistant capacity preferred.
