Receptionist Position at Cancer Center

Our Client, a Cancer Center company, is looking for a Receptionist for their Lancaster, CA location. Responsibilities include:

• Greets and receives callers or visitors at establishment, and ascertains nature of business.
• Asks for caller's or visitor's name, arranges for appointment with or notifies person called upon on caller's arrival, guides caller to destination, and records name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon.
• A radiation oncology receptionist is responsible for welcoming patients, managing front desk operations, and supporting the clinical team in a fast paced cancer treatment environment.
• The role includes greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance and paperwork, scheduling daily radiation appointments, coordinating with nurses and therapists, and maintaining accurate records.
• Because patients are often anxious or undergoing difficult treatments, the receptionist provides compassionate communication, clear instructions, and a calm, supportive presence.
