Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Planner. This role is located at our Waukesha, WI site. No relocation assistance will be provided. The expected annual salary range for this role is $69,000 - $101,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do:

As a Production Planner, you will be an integral member of Power Systems Division (PSD) Production Control Team, with responsibilities aimed at on-time delivery through accurate work order management. The Production Planner will locate work orders in-process and coordinate sequencing with Production Operators to ensure Internal Customer commitments are met. The Production Planner will establish, maintain, and ensure proper execution of a valid production schedule for all items. The Production Planner is responsible for creation, releasing, printing, and oversight of all orders for each assigned product family. Production Planner will analyze resource capacity and other constraints to optimize through-put, while minimizing manufacturing cycle time, inventory, and achieving on-time delivery goals. The Production Planner must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills through effective communication and coordination with multiple functional groups (including Operation, Customer Service, Finance, and Purchasing). The Production Planner will assist the Master Production Scheduler (MPS) in determining and maintaining forecast and safety stock levels.

In this role you will:

• Direct daily work flow (WIP "work in process") through analysis of reports and input from cross-functional teams.
• Aligns and set priorities for the production plan considering shared resources across factory to maximize efficiency and material flow to ensure customer orders ship on time.
• Accumulates daily parts/material information to analyze and establish dates to meet and exceed customer delivery requirements.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams including: Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing.
• Own metrics of manufacturing on-time delivery (OTM), through-put, and past due order reduction.
• Participate in and lead business processes improvement events such as Continuous Improvement Framework, kaizens and workshops in order to improve processes and reduce waste.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procedures and techniques which will improve the scheduling/planning function.
• Actively participate in process improvement and creation/adhering to standard work.
• Establish optimal internal procurement strategies to achieve desired service, while utilizing just in time inventory management philosophies.
• Manage Assigned Projects utilizing a cross functional team.
