The Insurance Agency represents Farmers Insurance in all general lines of Property and Casualty for both Personal and Commercial customers, as well as Life Insurance products. In the consulting side of the business, we support small and medium-sized companies and we specialize in sales growth, customer value analysis, S&OP integrations, and operations, using curated, customizable software solutions. Role Description The Licensed Insurance Agent is a full-time, on-site role based in Richardson, TX. This role is responsible for identifying client insurance needs and recommending appropriate coverage solutions across various insurance products. The agent will conduct consultations, prepare and present proposals, process applications, and manage policy renewals and changes while ensuring regulatory compliance. Day-to-day activities include building and maintaining client relationships, responding to inquiries, providing policy education, and coordinating with internal teams and external carriers to resolve issues. The role also involves cold-calling, tracking sales activities, meeting performance targets, and contributing to the continuous improvement of sales and service processes. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales, with the ability to prospect, consult, and close policies effectively. Strong knowledge of Insurance products, including policy structures and regulatory considerations. Understanding of Finance principles relevant to premiums, claims, risk assessment, and client financial planning. Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building long-term relationships and delivering clear, empathetic communication. Active insurance licenses for P&C and Life, Accident, Health in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe). Experience working with insurance carriers, CRM systems, and policy administration tools. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. High level of integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical sales and advisory practices.
