Auto/ Diesel Mechanic

DATTCO currently has a full-time Mechanic opening in our School Bus Fleet Maintenance department. DATTCO was founded in 1924 and is a third generation, family-owned transportation company. Room for advancement – we promote from within Competitive compensation Medical & dental insurance Life insurance 401k plan with company match Flexible spending account Paid time off Uniform & boot program Paid training Bonus program for earning ASE certifications Primary Responsibilities: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles Perform diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles Complete required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage Make road calls Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor Position Requirements: High school diploma, trade school or equivalent.
