Delivery Supervisor Sr. Company: Columbia Distributing Location: Kent, Washington, United States Employment Type: Full-time (days and hours vary, may include weekends) Pay Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year Key Responsibilities Supervise a team of Delivery Drivers to ensure procedures are executed to company standards Assist the Delivery Director in budget planning and monthly expense reconciliation Manage personnel issues including training, evaluating, disciplining, and following up on delivery team concerns Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff Ensure that all safety and compliance policies and procedures are followed Properly handle all invoices and money for the assigned team Respond to customer related issues promptly to maintain positive relationships Work with routing team and drivers to optimize local route efficiencies Develop and maintain positive, cooperative, and team‑oriented relationships with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and others Adhere to all state liquor laws and regulations Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's core values at all times Key Competencies Active listening Follow up / follow through Strong work ethic Team player Accountability Dealing with difficult personalities Excellent oral and written communication skills Effective organizational and time management skills Ability to develop strong internal and external customer relationships Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills Ability to handle multiple and tight deadlines Effective coaching and leadership development skills People management Required Education and Experience High school diploma or GED required Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) required Valid driver license with acceptable driving record Preferred Education and Experience Minimum 3 years of driving experience Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience Two years of Delivery or Fleet Management experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Strong working knowledge of FMSCA/DOT/OSHA regulations Working knowledge of Fleet Management and Warehouse Management Systems Effective project management skills, including data interpretation and process design Knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements and experience supervising under one (Washington only) Benefits Paid vacation and sick days Holiday pay Competitive health insurance plans 401(k) with company matching Short-term disability Additional benefits may not be available for positions covered under active CBA, seasonal, or part‑time assignments Equal Opportunity Employer Columbia Distributing is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including Disability and Veterans. #J-18808-Ljbffr SupportFinity™
