Call for Salary Rate - Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical specializes in providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients within a hospital setting. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes. Responsibilities: Assess patients’ conditions accurately and efficiently using professional nursing skills. Develop and update patient care plans in collaboration with physicians, patients, and families. Implement nursing interventions based on clinical assessments and established protocols. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary. Document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately in electronic health records. Promote teamwork by communicating effectively with medical staff and hospital personnel. Qualifications: Hold current RN licensure in the State of Maine or pending licensure by endorsement. Graduate from an accredited nursing school. Maintain current BCLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire. Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills. Exhibit ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.
