A strong interest and background in employment-based immigration is important for this role. Required experience includes practicing employment-based immigration law, specifically securing temporary work visas and permanent residency (green card) solutions for foreign nationals. Candidates must have experience advising employers on complex I-9 compliance and E-Verify requirements. Proven experience preparing and filing H-1B, L-1A, L-1B, E-2, TN, and O-1 petitions, alongside permanent residence applications like PERM, I-140, and I-485 matters, is essential.
