Machine Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Shift 2nd, Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm Compensation The compensation range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity. Responsibilities Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment through inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation to determine root cause of problems. Disassemble machines and repair or replace broken parts. Adjust functional parts of mechanical devices as necessary. Clean and lubricate parts, order replacement parts, inspect completed repairs and return equipment to specifications. Adapt procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet special needs. Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Basic Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum 2 years of prior machine maintenance experience. Strong mechanical/electrical understanding of complex equipment. Use of basic hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of machine tools and their use. Knowledge of basic electrical and electronic repairs. Preferred Qualifications (PQs) Education: HS/GED. Experience: 3 years of prior machine maintenance experience. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to follow diagrams, schematics, manuals, instructions and engineering specifications.
