About this position: Construction Superintendent Location - Anchorage, AK The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Essential Duties & Responsibilities On-site implementation and coordination of the project plans per the SOW Schedule and execute all phases of construction Estimating experience including RSMeans Attendance at regular internal and external tailgates meetings including daily discussions on project health and safety Preparation of daily reports with Project Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer and QCM Review and processing of project submittals Active role in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with all on site staff Coordination with on-site subs Other duties as assigned Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications Education Requirements: High School Degree or equivalent Level of Experience Requirements: OSHA 30 Training Enter qualifications required to perform the job. Must include education and level of experience. A minimum of 3 years in Construction with a preference for Federal/DOD work Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers Excellent computer skills Skilled in Microsoft Office programs Construction management experience Preferred Federal government or DOD experience in construction First Aid/CPR certified Federal government or DOD experience in construction Supervisory Responsibilities This position will have supervisory responsibilities. DOT Covered/Safety-Sensitive Role Requirements This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
