Optometric Assistant

Caruso Eye Care is looking for a friendly, dependable Optometric Assistant to join our team in Lake Worth Beach and Royal Palm Beach. This position plays a key role in creating a great experience for every patient from the moment they arrive until the end of their visit. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in helping others. Responsibilities: Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit Update and maintain accurate patient records before pre-testing Perform preliminary testing using optometric equipment (training provided) Share important information with the doctor before the exam Transition patients from the exam room to the optical area and communicate details to the optical team Support daily office operations by restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, answering phones, and assisting with scheduling or other patient needs Qualifications: Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a busy environment Basic computer skills Prior experience in healthcare or customer service preferred but not required Willingness to learn and grow with the practice What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Consistent full or part time hours On-the-job training and advancement opportunities Supportive work environment Performance-based bonuses Locations: Lake Worth Beach and/or Royal Palm Beach, Florida.
