Position Overview Operates equipment in the production of radiographic images in accordance with department protocols. Administers radiopaque material for enhance examinations under the supervision of a radiologist. Promotes a safe environment by using protective devices and practices. The technologist must be attentive to patient needs during examinations and take appropriate action if necessary. Independent problem solving in the performance of duties with limited supervision. Specifics Position: Radiology Technologist Department: Radiology Location: Gateway Regional Medical Center 2100 Madison Ave. Granite City, IL 62040 Position Status: Full-time Work Schedule: M-F Days, 40hr/wk Education Qualifications Required: Graduate of an AMA approved radiological technologist program Certification Qualifications Required: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification Required: licensed by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) Experience Qualifications Previous experience preferred New Graduates welcome Company Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
