Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 437 beds
Number of Staff: 60 staff members
Type of Staff: Director, permanent staff, 7-8 RRTs, 3-4 per diem help
Day Shift: Director, Manager, Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
Night Shift: Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
Patient Ratios: Approximately 44-46 procedures per shift
Type of Equipment: Servo I ventilators, nebulizer, Hamilton V 60, Astral CPAP & BIPAP machines, ABGs, CPT EMR Meditech


Typical Hiring Profile:
Skill Set Most Recruited For: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters
Preferred Skills: Trauma experience
Director prefers to consider candidates with previous Meditech experience


Typical Procedures Performed:
Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.
