Registered Nurse CVICU

$3427.20/week –

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ECMO Specialist RN with specialized circuit management skills to join our critical care team. This role involves managing ECMO therapy and providing advanced cardiovascular and intensive care to adult patients.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and operate ECMO circuits to ensure optimal patient support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Manage complex cardiovascular cases within the CVICU and ICU settings.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and maintain compliance with certifications and safety standards.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records.
• Float to other units as needed, providing expert care within scope of qualifications.

Qualifications:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of ECMO circuit management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in CVICU or ICU preferred.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Preferred certifications include CES-A or E-AEC and LVAD training.
• Ability to work night shifts (4×12 hours) and pass pre-assignment testing.
