About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):16The Role: Global Head of Cloud & InfrastructureResponsibilities and Impact:Lead S&P Global's Cloud & Infrastructure organization, overseeing cloud platforms, networks, observability, forward deployment engineering, enterprise architecture, and AI foundations across all global business divisionsArchitect and operate S&P Global's hybrid, multi-cloud estate across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure with 24×7 reliability, elastic scale, and optimized cost, performance, and sustainability metricsEngineer resilient global networks spanning cloud interconnect, data centers, campus and branch locations, modernizing WAN edge to SASE/SSE while embedding zero trust architecture for market-data and trading workloadsIndustrialize foundational GenAI capabilities enterprise-wide, building scalable AI-ready data platform foundations while strengthening trust, safety, and observability for agentic AI at scaleDrive enterprise modernization through risk-based vulnerability management, secure software supply chain practices, and cyber-resilience partnerships with the CISO organizationDeliver enterprise-wide commitments for cost, quality, performance, and availability through disciplined portfolio management while aligning architecture with M&A execution to accelerate integration and business valueS&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $220,000 to $350,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. For more information on the benefits we provide to our employees, please click here .Include for roles that are bonus plan eligible, including sales commission plans.What We're Looking For:Basic Required Qualifications:15+ years of technology leadership experience with minimum 5 years leading global cloud and infrastructure organizations of comparable scale and complexityProven track record delivering enterprise cloud transformation and platform modernization at scale across hybrid, multi-cloud environments including orchestration platforms (such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or OpenShift) and infrastructure as code tools (such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)Demonstrated experience leading global enterprise network organizations across cloud, data center, campus, and edge environments, including SASE/SSE modernization and zero-trust network access implementationDeep operating experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services, capital markets, ratings, or data analytics with regulatory compliance expertiseExecutive-level fluency working with regulators, external auditors, and enterprise risk functions with accountability for large-scale technology budgets and vendor portfolio managementBachelor's degree from accredited institution; advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) strongly preferredAdditional Preferred Qualifications:Experience integrating technology capabilities post-M&A to accelerate value realization and optimize technology investments across diverse organizational structuresHands-on familiarity with platform engineering, CI/CD platforms (such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps), and observability solutions (like Prometheus, Grafana, or DataDog) at enterprise scaleExposure to regulated data infrastructure requirements including SEC, ESMA, FCA, and DORA compliance frameworks with demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environmentsPublic speaking experience, board-level presentation skills, and established industry thought-leadership presence with prior collaboration experience working with hyperscaler executive teams (Google, AWS, Microsoft) on strategic partnershipsWhat’s In It For You?Our Mission:Advancing Essential Intelligence.Our People:We're more than 35,000 strong worldwide—so we're able to understand nuances while having a broad perspective.
