Plant Equipment Reliability Technician I–II

Where: Richmond, VA

Pay: $22.38–$27.38 per hour

Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week) with early AM or early PM starts; flexibility for weekends/holidays

What you’ll tackle

• Adhere to safety regulations, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Execute preventive maintenance: inspections, adjustments, and component replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Partner with Operations to support overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Document all work: PMs, repairs, and inspections.
• Coordinate with fellow techs; share knowledge and provide technical support.
• Mentor junior technicians to build capability across the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications a plus
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent)
• Strong mechanical aptitude; solid grasp of mechanical/electrical principles
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Positive, team-focused attitude and effective communication
• Physically able to meet job demands
• Capable of operating Forklifts and Scissor Lifts
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
