Job TitleThe duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.The duties may include, but are not limited to:Serves as an Agency expert and point of contact for their assigned area of responsibility on issues pertaining to the APHIS Security Program.Responsible for leading, implementing, and monitoring the development and administration of the Program, and the training of Security Officers and Emergency Security Coordinators.Provides physical security duties and biohazard security support for employees and contractors during animal and plant health response activities and deployments.Conducts investigations related to external threats to Agency employees.Conducts security and threat assessments related to APHIS facilities, programs, and personnel.Provides safety and security briefings and programs within APHIS.
