HR Business Partner

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Director, HR Business Partner and Learning & Development for a direct hire opportunity in Irvine, CA. This role supports an evolving sales and operations organization within the real estate and property management industry, partnering closely with senior leaders to align talent strategy, organizational design, employee engagement, and sales enablement with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a trusted HR advisor to Sales and Operations leaders on performance management, employee relations, compensation, engagement, workforce planning, and organizational design.
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, and annual HR cycle deliverables, including performance, merit, bonus, and compensation planning.
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding, ramp, upskilling, sales readiness, leadership development, and operations training programs.
- Build manager toolkits, workshops, playbooks, coaching resources, and self-service learning content to improve leadership effectiveness and employee performance.
- Support organizational change initiatives related to sales segments, territories, compensation plans, operating rhythms, and business transformation.
- Use people and business data, including attrition, engagement, ramp time, quota attainment, internal mobility, and performance outcomes, to measure program impact and guide decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

- Base salary range: $175,000 to $190,000 per year.
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Eligible for an annual performance bonus and/or commission, as applicable.

- Unlimited PTO.
- 12 paid holidays.
- In-office Monday through Thursday, hybrid on Fridays.
- Approximately 25% travel.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Partner with Sales and Operations leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Build and scale onboarding, sales readiness, manager development, and Learning and Development programs.
- Lead performance management, talent planning, compensation cycle support, employee relations, and organizational design initiatives.
- Use workforce, engagement, performance, and business data to diagnose needs, prioritize actions, and measure results.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience with significant HR Business Partner scope.
- 3+ years of Learning and Development, sales enablement, organizational development, or blended HRBP and L&D experience.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, compliance, employee relations, performance management, and compensation practices.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Sales and/or Operations teams with strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proven experience designing and facilitating learning programs, onboarding, upskilling, workshops, playbooks, and leadership development tools.
- Ability to coach executives, managers, and employees through complex and sensitive situations while balancing empathy, compliance, and business outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HRIS, reporting tools, learning platforms, and business data to evaluate trends and program effectiveness.
- Proficiency with Office 365 and experience using technology to scale HR and learning programs.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment with competing priorities and time-sensitive deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Multi-site client support experience.
- Experience supporting sales teams in high-growth or transformation environments.
- Mortgage servicing, financial services, real estate, or property management industry experience.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate Learning and Development content creation, including sales playbooks, learning paths, call coaching scripts, and microlearning resources.
