Make a meaningful impact supporting K-8 students as a Speech Therapist in vibrant Colorado Springs, CO. This is a contract position working with a school-aged caseload, offering the opportunity to assist children in achieving vital communication and academic goals.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license (CCC required)
• Previous experience in school-based settings highly valued
• Strong understanding of K-8 developmental and educational needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in kindergarten through 8th grade within the school district
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and adapt interventions to support growth
• Work closely with special education teams, parents, and classroom teachers to offer interventions and recommendations
• Maintain up-to-date records and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Provide support and strategies to school personnel and caregivers

Position Details:

• 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday schedule
• Caseload will involve a diverse range of students with varying needs; specific numbers and details to be shared following application
