Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through careful analysis of imaging tests and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons in developing and implementing tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance that includes preparing surgical rooms, confirming patient positioning, and skillfully handing instruments during surgeries
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative management, which encompasses medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Surgical emphasis in clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Licensed (or eligible) as a Physician Assistant in the state

Skills

• A strong understanding of surgical methods and sterile procedures
