Quick Facts: Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855 Start Date: 08/05/2026 Shift: 24-hour schedule (6am-6pm in the facility, 6pm-6am on-call) Duration: Ongoing, 10-14 days per month Hours/week: Flexible based on schedule Employment Type: Contract/Travel assignment License/Certifications: Active Nurse Practitioner license, NRP certification; Board Certified in Neonatology preferred or Board Eligible Experience: Required: Neonatal intensive care experience, advanced airway management skills (intubation, chest tube, central lines, paracentesis, spinal taps, exchange transfusions, thermal cooling, ventilator management including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide) Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time, aligned with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide specialized neonatal care in a Level III NICU setting. Perform advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and central line insertions. Manage ventilator support, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide therapy. Stabilize and prepare infants for transport to tertiary centers as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and pediatric specialists. Support infants with conditions such as RDS, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis, seizures, NAS, and VLBW. Use Cerner EHR system for documentation and communication. What You Need: Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Michigan NRP certification (preferred) Neonatal intensive care experience or strong background in pediatric critical care Proficiency in advanced airway management and neonatal procedures Strong teamwork and communication skills About the Assignment: This opportunity is based at a reputable NICU in Marquette, Michigan, that has served the community since the 1970s.
