We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with proven experience selling capital equipment to join our growing team. This role blends technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to drive revenue, support complex sales cycles, and deliver tailored solutions for customers. The ideal candidate excels at building relationships, understanding customer requirements, and translating technical features into business value.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive full-cycle sales of capital equipment solutions, from prospecting to close

· Partner with customers to understand operational needs and recommend optimal technical solutions

· Provide technical consultation, product demonstrations, and presentations to key stakeholders

· Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to customize proposals and solutions

· Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors

· Prepare and deliver detailed proposals, including technical specifications and ROI analysis

· Support contract negotiations and pricing strategy development

· Travel to customer sites, industry events, and trade shows as needed

· Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM documentation

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering is Required

· 2+ years of experience in capital equipment sales or applications engineering

· Strong understanding of industrial equipment, automation systems, or manufacturing processes

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex sales environments

· Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business benefits

· Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills

· Willingness to travel (50% depending on territory)

· Experience selling high-value equipment (e.g., machinery, automation, robotics, or processing systems)

· Familiarity with industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, packaging, or energy

· Experience working with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals

· Background in solution selling or consultative sales methodologies
