Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.The Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) Geosynchronous Orbit (GEO) and Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) constellations utilize the Pointing and Control (PCA) subsystem to provide control and knowledge of the Payload sensor’s Line-of-Sight (LOS) direction. The PCA consists of the Gyro Reference Assembly (GRA), the two-axis gimbals, the Motor Drive Electronics (MDE), and the Line-of-Sight Computer (LOSC).The PCA Technical Analyst (TA) is considered the day-to-day subject matter expert on the Pointing and Control Assembly along with its associated hardware and is therefore expected to acquire in-depth knowledge of the functions stated above and is responsible for the daily state of health and operability of the PCA components. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
