Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomy Site Coordinator in Alexandria, Virginia to oversee Patient Service Center operations, manage staff and patient flow, and perform phlebotomy and specimen processing duties. The role combines administrative oversight with direct clinical responsibilities in a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating Saturday hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and compliance issues
• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages
• Prepare specimens for testing and handle data entry and billing processes
• Address customer service issues and promote teamwork among staff
• Travel to additional sites when required and complete administrative duties

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year phlebotomy experience or completed accredited training program
• In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
