Registered Nurse - Night Shift - 4x12 Hours

Schedule

This is a night shift position working 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with block scheduling approved.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in a critical care environment to provide high-quality patient care. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 2 patients per shift, ensuring quality care and patient safety.
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient management.
• Provide care for adults and geriatric patients within a 10-bed facility.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage ventilated patients under supervision.
• Engage in infection prevention protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in a nursing role, with travel experience preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 and familiarity with critical care skills.
• State or Compact nursing license must be in hand at the time of application.
