Work Environment

Operating from our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, this full-time position allows you to work onsite where collaboration and teamwork are emphasized. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday, providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history, systematically performing assessments, and documenting results to develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Engaging with patients and their families to explain evaluation findings and treatment goals, ensuring a collaborative approach in setting their rehabilitation objectives.
• Implementing and executing dynamic treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations, responses to treatment, and current best practices in healthcare.
• Consulting with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals as needed, recognizing and documenting changes in patients' conditions that may necessitate a modification of care plans.
• Managing the full scope of patient care documentation, including accurate and timely record-keeping for daily encounters, progress summaries, and discharge documentation, which fosters accountability and continuity of care.
• Demonstrating strong time management skills to meet productivity expectations while maintaining a flexible and punctual schedule for patient appointments and meetings.
• Actively participating in departmental initiatives to achieve established goals and comply with all relevant regulations and accreditation standards.
• Taking the initiative in pursuing continuing education opportunities and mentoring students or less experienced colleagues as a clinical instructor.
• Enhancing the overall patient experience through adaptability and responsiveness to individual patient needs and preferences.
• Supporting community outreach by participating in marketing initiatives aimed at increasing access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our clinic serves individuals of all ages, and your expertise will be vital in tailoring rehabilitation strategies that meet varied needs, promoting independence and functionality in their daily lives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a valid state licensure to practice in Florida.
• American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• A solid commitment to professional development and patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant work experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, we encourage candidates who are recent graduates with a strong knowledge base and clinical skills to apply. Prior exposure to outpatient rehabilitation settings will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
