Work Environment

The role is based within our state-of-the-art outpatient clinic, where you will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Our clinic operates onsite, with a schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic while maximizing patient care. The outpatient setting provides a unique opportunity to work closely with patients who are often managing recovery from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to create personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices, ensuring approaches are tailored to enhance motion and reduce pain effectively.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to allow for thorough attention to patient care, ensuring treatments are adjusted based on patients' progress and feedback.
• Utilize a variety of rehabilitation modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to promote recovery and wellness.
• Document patient treatments meticulously using EMR software, particularly Web PT, to maintain accurate records and support seamless communication within the care team.
• Assess and enhance each patient's physical capabilities through designing and implementing exercise programs that foster strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Engage with patients to motivate and support them throughout their treatment journey, fostering an encouraging and positive rehabilitation environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share patient updates and optimize treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive service delivery.
• Continuously track patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary, always prioritizing their recovery goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our outpatient clinic, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals facing rehabilitation after orthopedic surgeries, and those managing chronic conditions. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that each patient receives high-quality care tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs, emphasizing non-surgical interventions and promoting active engagement in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean history regarding sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques, with a proven ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
• Experience using EMR systems, particularly Web PT, aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency.
• A comprehensive understanding of current physical therapy practices and therapeutic modalities supported by empirical research.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a patient-focused approach.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, contingent on experience and expertise. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and continuing education support.
