Work Environment

This position is based onsite as a home care provider, working directly with patients in their homes across Lehigh Acres and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans that address specific conditions and needs.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement a diverse range of treatment methods to improve mobility and reduce pain, adapting techniques according to patient responses.
• Demonstrate top-tier customer service skills, ensuring all patient interactions contribute to a supportive and effective rehabilitation experience.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and healthcare professionals, leveraging collective expertise to enhance patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions in patients' homes, employing techniques and modalities designed to achieve progress aligned with each patient's recovery goals.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on home exercises and self-management strategies to reinforce therapeutic gains beyond therapy sessions.
• Meet established productivity goals and contribute to the organization's overall business objectives through effective patient management.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The therapist in this role will work with a diverse group of patients across multiple specialties, including orthopedic cases, pediatric therapy, neurologic rehabilitation, and sports medicine. You will develop the ability to address a wide array of conditions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of varied therapeutic approaches. Building strong relationships with patients will be crucial, helping them to not only achieve functional goals but also improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in patient care.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during interventions.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Competency in word processing and other computer-related tasks necessary for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in home care settings is highly desirable as it will enhance your ability to provide compassionate care tailored to patients' environments.
• Proficiency in utilizing treatment modalities and techniques specific to varied specialty areas, such as orthopedic rehabilitation or pediatric therapy, will be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

Valleywise Physical Therapy offers competitive compensation ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
