Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center is designed to provide a welcoming atmosphere for both patients and staff. The facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic tools and technologies, allowing our physical therapists to deliver comprehensive and effective treatment plans. You will work in a collaborative and supportive environment from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a team that prioritizes patient care and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to state practice acts while implementing individual treatment plans and supervising appropriate personnel.

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients suffering from various functional limitations and disabilities to establish a personalized treatment strategy.

• Perform evaluations that include detailed patient histories, specific assessments, and formulating recommendations documented with precision.

• Demonstrate expertise in implementing tailored treatment protocols based on evaluation findings, while remaining adaptable to evolving healthcare landscapes.

• Engage with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, documenting any changes in the patient's condition that necessitate adjustments in treatment plans.

• Oversee discharge planning and ensure effective follow-up care, documenting all patient interactions and progress with accuracy that reflects our commitment to quality.

• Participate actively in corporate and clinical compliance training and keep abreast of state, local, and federal regulations.

• Regularly assess treatment practices to remove barriers to access and contribute to the organizational goals of improving patient care and community outreach.

• Engage in team meetings and contribute to collaborative discussions aimed at enhancing service delivery and patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily work with patients experiencing orthopedic concerns, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Our diverse patient demographic includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds seeking to restore their mobility and improve their overall health. Cultural competence and empathy are critical as we strive to understand not just the physical but also the emotional aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

• Must hold valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.

• A minimum of two years of outpatient orthopedic experience.

• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in a rehabilitation center, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and participation in multidisciplinary teams are strong assets for this position. Continuous learning and engagement in professional development activities will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
