• Shift: Variable shifts, including 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday), 8-hour weekend shifts, and a 16-hour night shift (4 days/week) no on-call
• Hours/Week: Approximately 36-40 hours per week

• License/Certifications: Current, Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) only; no FNP/PNP certifications accepted
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of NNP clinical experience (excluding RN experience); not accepting new graduates or locum candidates

What You ll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level-III NICU setting
• Manage patients requiring high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling therapies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support subspecialty services
• Document clinical assessments, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately
• Support clinical training and mentorship of staff and students at Mercer Medical School
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
• Respond to complex neonatal situations in a critical care environment

What You Need
Required:

• Current, unrestricted NNP Board Certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NNP
• Valid Georgia nurse practitioner license or eligibility to obtain one

Preferred:

• Experience in Level-III NICU or similar high-acuity neonatal environments
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
