Scheduler

Akkodis is seeking a Scheduler for a Direct Hire with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will develop and manage construction project schedules, monitor progress, and implement recovery strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget .

Salary Range: $80K/Year to $90K/Year; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Scheduler Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to support successful construction project delivery.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, suppliers, and project teams to track progress, identify risks, and resolve scheduling issues.
• Analyze project delays, prepare delay analysis reports, and recommend recovery plans and mitigation strategies.
• Produce schedule reports, look-ahead schedules, progress updates, and project performance metrics for stakeholders and clients.
• Support pre-construction planning by developing tender schedules and evaluating construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Ensure project schedules align with safety requirements, engineering constraints, design development, and overall project objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in construction planning, scheduling, and project controls for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6 (preferred) and/or Microsoft Project, including schedule development, progress tracking, and delay analysis.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration, risk management, safety requirements, and schedule recovery/mitigation planning.
