Warehouse Clerk 1st Shift

Position Overview Ryder is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate in Hagerstown, Maryland — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Updating area or shift metrics using the location's WMS system as needed. Generating daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature. Performing floor work and additional duties as assigned. Performing basic administrative tasks for an area or shift. Maintaining filing systems and documents. Gathering from and providing information to floor employees in his/her area of support. Coordinating activities, meetings, and communication for the specific area or shift. Performing other duties as assigned depending on the area supported or if location specific. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred. One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred. One (1) year or more experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates customer service skills. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment. Capable of multitasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills. Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
