This is not a traditional accounting or bookkeeping role. This person will own the forward-looking financial planning and analysis that helps guide major business decisions, including growth investments, inventory, hiring, profitability, and cash flow.What You'll OwnFP&A & Strategic PlanningLead annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planningBuild revenue, cash flow, hiring, and departmental forecastsDevelop scenario models to support strategic business decisionsProvide financial insights and recommendations directly to executive leadershipExecutive Reporting & Business IntelligenceDevelop executive dashboards and weekly business scorecardsEstablish and monitor company and departmental KPIsLead monthly financial and operational performance analysisPrepare materials for weekly leadership meetings and quarterly business reviewsBusiness PartnershipPartner closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Amazon, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Operations, Product, Customer Experience, Retention, Creative, and SalesBuild department budgets, hiring plans, spending forecasts, and growth projectionsHelp department leaders understand the financial impact of their decisionsBalance financial discipline with aggressive investment where the expected return supports itInventory & Demand PlanningLead demand forecasting and inventory planningAnalyze inventory health and identify potential stockout or excess inventory risksSupport purchasing decisions and cash deployment strategiesCoordinate inventory planning across multiple ecommerce channelsProfitability & Strategic FinanceAnalyze contribution margin, CAC, LTV, pricing, and offer profitabilityConduct break-even and scenario analysisBuild financial models for new products and growth initiativesMake recommendations around capital allocation and investment opportunitiesSystems & Process ImprovementImprove forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processesDevelop scalable financial planning infrastructureIntroduce dashboard automation and AI-enabled reporting where appropriateBuild financial SOPs and documentation as the organization continues to scaleWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for a strategic finance leader who thinks beyond the numbers. You should be comfortable asking questions like: What is the best use of capital? What happens if our assumptions change? Where are the risks? What information do we need to make a better decision?Ideal experience includes:Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling experienceCash flow and revenue forecastingExecutive reporting and KPI developmentScenario and sensitivity analysisDepartment-level budgeting and business partnershipContribution margin and profitability analysisInventory or demand planning experienceExperience partnering directly with senior executives, founders, or business ownersPreferred Industry BackgroundExperience within a high-growth consumer business is strongly preferred, particularly within:Consumer WellnessCPGBeauty or Personal CareApparelFitnessEcommerceOmnichannel RetailExperience within a founder-led or rapidly scaling organization is especially valuable.What Will Make Someone SuccessfulThis role is best suited for someone who enjoys building rather than simply maintaining.
