Job Purpose The Yard Workers is responsible for operating commercial and/or industrial equipment to load, unload, store, or transport materials or product. Description of Essential Duties Practice safe, thorough, and positive work habits. Work under Yard Supervisor and yard team members using applied practices. Unloading, receiving, and taking inventory of scheduled deliveries Stage material production Load completed jobs and secure load to trailers, using D.O.T. requirements. Use rigging techniques to safely move material. Must maintain a clean work environment, taking the initiative to pick up and know how our yard should be kept. Conduct a weekly inventory of yard items being stocked to ensure correct material levels and which items need to be reordered. Maintain an organized work area free from any unnecessary hazards associated with the work being performed. Supervisory Responsibilities None Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience in a yard or construction environment Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy materials up to 50 lbs Comfortable working outdoors Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods This position is currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr Phoenix Fabricators & Erectors, LLC
