Position: Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00AM-5:30PM

Pay: $17.00

Location: Brownsburg IN

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves operating a sit-down forklift and performing manual product picking when forklift tasks are not available. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle varying product sizes and weights. Physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs, is required throughout the day.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safely operate a sit-down forklift
Load and unload truck trailers
Locate and pick products accurately
Utilize RF scanners for inventory management
Build pallets according to weight and size specifications to prevent product damage
Wrap pallets and apply shipping labels before staging
Stage cargo in a safe and organized manner within the warehouse
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 1 year of experience operating a sit-down forklift
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be fluent in Spanish
