Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable as needed to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse to provide care for patients in our medical-surgical tele unit. The role may require floating to J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ECG rhythm.
• Administer medications and perform evaluations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
• Work at least every other holiday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty applied for, preferably in one location, or 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.
• Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Travel experience is acceptable.
