About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team.
• Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
• Maintain patient records and document treatment sessions accurately.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

• Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license required.
• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Basic knowledge of electronic health record systems.
