The Pasadena Police Department is seeking an experienced Crime Analyst to provide crime trend analysis, assist detectives as needed, and help manage investigative resourcesfor the City of Pasadena. This is an excellent career opportunity fora proven professionalto be a part of a progressive, World Class Police Department, in addition to assisting in the planned establishment of an Active Intelligence Center. The current vacancy is in our Criminal Investigations Division, which is responsible for compiling, entering, maintaining, integrating, analyzing and reporting findings on crime trends and patterns and other related statistical data and information. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detailed oriented and progressive in applying best practices to law enforcement crime analysis. The successful candidate will be analytical, computer/software savvy, a self-starter and utilize independent judgment in establishing work processes to strengthen the nexus between crime analysis and effective, proactiv CORE COMPETENCIES Attention to Detail - Focusing on the details of work content, work steps, and final work products.
