Catering CoordinatorAt Chick-fil-A Cross Pointe, the Catering Coordinators are responsible for assisting the leadership team in ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. The Catering Coordinators are responsible for owning all incoming and outgoing catering orders. A daily task would be fulfilling orders in a fast-paced, team environment for pick-up and delivery orders at an excellent level. This position works closely with both front and back of house leadership teams to ensure all orders are on time. Many days will require you to be the face of Chick-fil-A when taking deliveries to businesses. You will spend each day executing excellence for a multi-million-dollar business. You will be pushed to be your best while delivering excellent customer service. We want you being better today than you were yesterday.Minimum Qualifications:Must be hard-working, team-oriented, friendly, honest, dependable and have great guest service skills with excellent organizational and time management skills while being detail orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment to fulfill pick-up and delivery orders dailyAbility to organize/stage catering orders/materials for next day ordersProvide pertinent inventory information and complete some minimal food prep as neededSolid communication skills to confirm and complete follow-up with catering guestGood attitude and willingness to learnClean driving record; must be willing/able to assist with some deliveryFlexible Team PlayerAbility to carry totes/TMS Bags (approximately 10- 40 lbs.) filled with catering food trays and gallon beverages.Physical Requirements:The work area includes: food, ovens, mixers, food processors, knives, slippery floors, and, at time, high temperatures. It is a hands-on, non-smoking, restaurant setting involving constant interaction with customers, employees, managers and vendors. The ability to effectively communicate, identify food quality, tolerate heat and walk-in freezers, lift and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds, and stand/walk on hard surfaces during the course of the work day. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts; extreme cold (non-weather) and extreme heat (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to taste and/or smell. The employee is required to sit; grip and grasp with hands, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and bend at the waist.
