Job Summary: Under direct supervision, acquires knowledge of the different functions within the Pharmacy. Responsible for, but not limited to, filling medication orders, answering phones, attending staff meetings, providing support to pharmacists, and maintaining the safe handling and integrity of medications. Pharmacy Technician Trainee License Required Does this position require Patient Care? No

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Licenses and Credentials: Pharmacy Technician [State License] - preferred Pharmacy Technician in Training [Massachusetts License] - Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy preferred
Experience: Hospital-related experience, formal training, or certification from a pharmacy technician training program 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be able to appropriately confront issues, make decisions, and solve problems.
