\n \nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including conducting legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. \n
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers to negotiate settlements and advance cases through the litigation process. \n
- Conduct depositions, appear at court hearings, and represent clients in mediations and arbitration proceedings. \n
- Partner with senior attorneys and support staff to develop and execute strategic case plans designed to achieve favorable outcomes. \n
- Remain current on developments in personal injury law and emerging legal trends to provide informed and strategic counsel to clients. \n
- Evaluate liability and damages by reviewing medical records, accident reports, and expert findings to assess case value. \n
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, mediations, and trial testimony. \n
- Monitor and ensure compliance with court deadlines, procedural rules, and statutes of limitation. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. \n
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut, with an active license in good standing. \n
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters, with substantial knowledge of Connecticut law. \n
- Demonstrated litigation experience, including drafting pleadings and motions, conducting depositions, and appearing in court. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven negotiation and client advocacy abilities. \n
- Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively within a team-based environment. \n
- Highly detail-oriented with exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills. \n
