As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead a team of dedicated housekeeping staff in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitization of our Skilled Nursing facility. Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, public areas, and equipment

• Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and workflow

• Supervise and train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, protocols, and policies

• Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and equipment maintenance

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and overall care

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting

• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

• Understanding of infection control and cleaning protocols

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or degree in a related field preferred
